Assuka. Yes, that extra ‘s’ was intentional. The most asstastic Assuka figure there is. There are many figures that highlight this asspect of her, but none are so well sculpted in my opinion. This pose also manages to achieve the trifecta, face, chest, ass, all in one angle, though her jacket kind of ruins that unfortunately. TL;DR: This is definitely my favourite Assuka figure, but she’s not perfect. Now enjoy the photos.
It feels like it’s been a year since I wrote a post, as if it must be 2010 already, but surely I jest, right? Is it really the end of another decade? Well damn, so it is. I liked the idea a lot, and while a good deal of work I’ve decided to do it again this week with Kotobukiya’s Rebuild of Evangelion series of figures, starting off with Ayanami Rei and ending with my favourite, Shikinami Asuka Langley. That means Misato will be sandwiched between these two ladies, yum.
Kotobukiya’s Plug from Fight Ippatsu! Jūden-chan!! I decided to skip my other figures and review her first since I haven’t seen many reviews out there for her, and she’s being re-released this fall. Plug was completely an impulse purchase, I’d seen the series was coming out, but didn’t know much about it. I’d seen the figure was being re-released and though perhaps I’d pre-order. Surprisingly, Hobby Link Japan had some of the original 2007 run figures in stock, so I jumped on her immediately. To purchase, I jumped to purchase… Continue reading Plug Cryostat Insulator Suit Ver.) by Kotobukiya
