As mentioned at the end of my previous quickie I had to replace the forward O2 sensor on the Saabaru so that I could pass emissions and renew my plate stickers. A friend of mine, the same friend from this post, MrCool did most of the work. Not because I couldn’t, but because I’m a pussy and didn’t want to touch the hot exhaust pipes.
On Monday I visited a family friend who’s built a couple of custom motorcycles to learn how to replace a fork seal on my V-strom. Of course, my repair manual tells me how, and we used that for torque figures, but it’s always nice to have someone who knows what they’re doing for your first time doing anything.
Last night I ventured out in an attempt to capture some photos of the “epic” Camelopardalids Meteor Shower that was expected to appear. Long story short, what a waste of time. Could have been my latitude, could have been the light pollution, but I barely saw any meteors zip through the sky in the 1.5 hours I was out.
Suddenly felt like taking a bunch of photos yesterday. The weather was actually sunny when I took them, but once I started to process them a thunderstorm had rolled in and I felt that concept suited the photos better. I hope you enjoy some fakery!
Sunday night MrCool, a reasonably local and fellow Dollfie Dream collector, asked if I would show him how to take good photos. I did nothing of the sort, but we spent Monday outside taking photos anyway.
April is a busy month for many of the crew who attend the Toronto doll meets. Between Easter and preparing for Anime North, weekends are just as busy as weekdays. So scheduling becomes an issue for some and as such pushed us right back to the last day of the last weekend in April.
While house/pet sitting for a friend last weekend I used the opportunity to take some photos of the girls in a new location. I like how a bunch of them turned out, but I couldn’t narrow it down to just a few. I also took some dog photos! Though I’ll throw them in a second post.
