Shikinami Asuka Langley (Jersey Ver.) by Alter

February 26, 2015

Assuka. Yes, that extra ‘s’ was intentional. The most asstastic Assuka figure there is. There are many figures that highlight this asspect of her, but none are so well sculpted in my opinion. This pose also manages to achieve the trifecta, face, chest, ass, all in one angle, though her jacket kind of ruins that […]

Makinami Mari Illustrious (Plug Suit Style) by Kotobukiya

December 5, 2014

My first figure review in almost two years, Makinami Mari Illustrious Plug Suit Style by Kotobukiya. This is mainly an excuse to finally unbox her due to self-imposed rules that for some reason I refuse to break and I’m tired of unopened figures strewn about my living space.

Sayame by Questioners

December 1, 2012

It’s been almost 3 years since I originally posted about Sayame at Wonder Festival 2010 (Winter) and longer still since I originally saw her and wished for her. July 10, 2012

What’s this? How strange, is that Horo in an Ayanami Rei costume? It must be, nothing else gets posted on Tailgrab these days but Horo, surely this post must be about Horo in some shape or fashion right? Surely I jest. But… where’s her tail? She’s got red eyes, and those clips could perhaps cover her ears in some fashion. But… her tail? *shock* Is this actually an Ayanami Rei figure?!

April 23, 2012

It’s been a long time since I’ve written a figure review, seven months twenty-two days be precise. In this post I look at e2046’s Gathering knock-off release of Horo, originally produced as a garage kit by Tsuru no Yakata.

Horo by CM’s Corporation

September 1, 2011

I think I have to start by saying that I’m pleasantly surprised. I knew ahead of time this would not be a perfect Horo. Between the promoshots and the preview at Hobby Stock it was clear what I was going to receive. Then the poorly lit photos started appearing and everyone complained and cancelled their orders. But I held steady, I’d been through this a hundred times I knew what to expect, and that was not to expect much at all. I think because of my pessimism I’m able to be pleasantly surprised today.
