It’s been almost two weeks since I arrived back home to On-terrible (Ontario) from a recent trip to British Columbia. Like Colorado, I wish I lived there, everything is gorgeous, even when it’s foggy, cloudy, and cold, but not cold enough to snow. As you’d probably expect, I took Horo along with me for some photos, what you might not have expected was I brought along her new friend Alice. Whom I’ve yet to post about as she arrived shortly before I left for the trip, but more on her in another post I suppose.
It would seem that it’s becoming an annual tradition to travel down and visit my favourite state in ‘murica. Three years running I’ve visited the “colorful” state of Colorado, each year with a different idea of how to tackle the state. This year I chose by motorcycle and it was easily the best visit yet. I covered a lot of ground and probably did so too quickly, which of course just means I’ll have to go back ;).
After two years of riding a sport bike in ways that a sport bike was never really intended to be ridden I decided a change was in order. I bought something a little more suited to the task at hand.
My ever expanding collection of Horo figures continues, now totaling 11 distinct figures with this e2046 knock-off of Rasetsu Nakobakaya’s Horo.
It’s been almost 3 years since I originally posted about Sayame at Wonder Festival 2010 (Winter) and longer still since I originally saw her and wished for her. With that kind of build up it’s near impossible for her to live up to my expectations. So, instead of the usual ‘studio’ review, I’ve decided to […]
When Alter previewed Kaminagi Ryoko at WonFes I was extremely surprised, she isn’t a very popular character as far as I know. Someone at Alter must really be a fan of hers, or Zegapain, because Alter had already made a figure of Ryoko in the past and there was no new series coming out either. Their reasons however don’t matter to me, I simply had to purchase her, let me tell you why.
What’s this? How strange, is that Horo in an Ayanami Rei costume? It must be, nothing else gets posted on Tailgrab these days but Horo, surely this post must be about Horo in some shape or fashion right? Surely I jest. But… where’s her tail? She’s got red eyes, and those clips could perhaps cover her ears in some fashion. But… her tail? *shock* Is this actually an Ayanami Rei figure?!
It’s been a long time since I’ve written a figure review, seven months twenty-two days be precise. In this post I look at e2046’s Gathering knock-off release of Horo, originally produced as a garage kit by Tsuru no Yakata.
