Seeing as there aren’t many warm days left with fall progressing quickly and winter rapidly approaching, I decided to take the opportunity today to go out for a ride. It was a balmy 15°C / 59°F and windy as heck!
A great deal of time has passed since I last posted about the status of my collection. In that time many many items have arrived, and just as many ordered. I’ve already posted some that have arrived since the last update such as E2046’s Gathering series Horo, Alter’s Kaminagi Ryoko as well as Kotobukiya’s “Plug Suit Style” Ayanami Rei, so I wont address those.
Recently went out for an 8-9 hour motorcycle ride through southern Ontario. I could have chosen a better route perhaps but all in all I was quite happy with the sights, which I’d seen before for the most part. One thing differed though, Godrich Ontario had been hit by an F3 Tornado since the last time I’d visited the downtown core. Sadly I didn’t remember this and didn’t take any pictures of the progress, I just thought there was a lot of construction… doh!
This past weekend has been a busy one so far as Tailgrab’s back-end is concerned. The site was migrated off it’s “512” node to a “1024” as well as some architecture changes to how the site is served. The reason behind this move isn’t that the site required more resources, on the contrary, Tailgrab had more than sufficient resources on the smaller node. Rather, the move was to consolidate the resources I had between various nodes and simplify management.
A good friend of mine got married in Colorado not to long ago and so I was invited back down to visit the state once more. I didn’t get a lot of time to go out and explore, nor did I have my own means of transportation. But, I did get to explore some of the same things I did last time with new people and get a different perspective on it that previously. Here are a few shots from the trip.
Seeing others produce timelapse videos of them constructing something has always made me wish to do the same thing, except I never build anything so I’ve not had the chance. Additionally, I’ve never had a video camera worth a damn before September of last year. Here’s my first attempt, constructing a Formula 1 car produced by Mega Bloks, knock off Lego essentially.
For the superstitious, Friday the 13th is probably not a day one wants to ride their motorcycle, or do anything for that matter because omg so unlucky! For the motorcyclist however, this is the day you ride to Port Dover Ontario.
The name “high park” probably brings to mind the outdoors, things like trees and fields, people and picnics, plants and wild life. Dirty storm drains probably don’t top ones list of things they’d associate with a park but that’s where Chag and I went to shoot our Evangelion figures.
