I would have started with Day 1 but unfortunately I didn’t have time to post anything. Today is the real start of the trip anyway, though I’m already 1,500 km from home by the end of it.
Today I joined my friend kb9skw in his Ford Five Hundred leaving my Saabaru all by it’s lonesome. A short trek today of only about 600 km, but it was a scenic drive through Wisconsin along the Wisonsin River and Mississippi River. We’ve stopped over in Mankato, MN for the night and will be heading towards Rapid City, SD. A longer drive through the prairies which is supposedly as flat as Shana (MMmm Deliciously Flat Country-side). I’d still like to try and capture just how flat it is with my camera, but we’ll see how that goes.
Unfortunately, I didn’t bring any RAW processing software so I can’t even post a picture from my camera. Perhaps I’ll install some throughout the trip as I get more photos I want to post. Horo on the console of the Five Hundred shot with a cameraphone will have to do for now.
