After leaving Colorado Springs covered in a fresh light dusting of snow we drove towards Tulsa, OK to meet a friend at a local Irish pub. Hoping to avoid as much of the snow as possible.more »
Day eleven was half a rest day and half some exploring. Decided to hit up the Garden of the Gods Park "near" the base of Pikes Peak. Was fun taking pictures from below the summit as well as from the top.more »
Days 9 and 10 were both shorter days but no less scenic than the previous. Though, perhaps a little less photogenic? I just don't feel I managed to capture much of it at all.more »
For today's trek we drove the west side of the San Juan Skyway, one of the top ten scenic drives in the United States so I'm told. And I see no reason to dispute that claim.more »
And on the seventh day, he rested. We're so close to Utah right here in Grand Junction, CO I can't not paraphrase the bible, no matter how much of an atheist I may be. But yeah, the seventh day was just a day of travel and rest for the most part.more »
