On Order: Kotobukiya Kasugano Sora Swimsuit Ver.
Another Sora figure on order and I’ve yet to receive the first! I suspect the Orchid Seed Megahouse version to be superior but this too looked like a cute figure and I couldn’t resist any longer.
Update (11/06/10): Sora has arrived as well as fixed an error.
I have a good deal of dislike for Kotobukiya and their finished products. However their 1/6th scale Eva figures really got my attention, and here’s hoping this 1/6th scale Sora figure follows with the quality of the Eva figures.
The stats, 13cm tall in her sitting position, sculpted by Munetoshi Makio, has an MSRP of ¥7,140 / $83 CAD but can be had for less, and will be released in May 2010.

Yeah… I hear you… But I seem to keep giving in each time. I’ve got so many Koto figures now…
kotobukiya 4 leaves division is on a different level than normal koto lineup. i would even rate them on equal levels as alter/MF/GSC while kotobukiya’s normal lineup being a notch below.

I’m not sure I agree with you on this one. I have Shigure Asa which is from their 4 Leaves line of figures, and she seems to be on par with just about anything I’ve seen from Kotobukiya.
its basically their more, special/ero department. and the scale are usually bigger, and usually provide stuffs like pillows for the figures to sit/pose on
like my kanokon chizuru :3
