I haven’t dressed up since the fourth grade
Of course, that was during Purim, as we do not celebrate All Hallows’ Eve around here
Never really occured to me to look on your About page and see where you were from. I just made the assumption you were from the United States, and I’m very sorry for that lol.
I dressed up a few years ago for a friends birthday party which happens around Halloween. She requested that everyone dress up, then I showed up and I was the only one dressed up! haha
How did you feel, at that birthday party? I hope you at least dressed modestly, not like the comedies where people think it’s a Playboy style costume party, come up dressed as bunnies, and everyone stares at them, dressed in normal-wear
No need to be very sorry about it, heh. But no, I’ve spent in my life a total of less than two months outside Israel.

Last time I dressed up was for Halloween was for a college dance. Being in an artsy major we had to choose a “theme” and our student council picked something like “royalty”. I went to a costume shop and found a cheap, white, and plasticy Elvis costume.
Stoke of genius on my part (hail to the King, baby!) but the the costume was a size too small. Not a pretty sight.
Fortunately, people were too drunk to care.
